Colorado Shines helps parents and caregivers find a quality early learning program, where professionals work with children to maximize their potential and start kindergarten ready to learn.
Competencies are the heart of the Colorado Shines Professional Development Information System. They detail what early childhood professionals need to know and be able to do to be successful. The PDIS contains a foundational set of competencies and two specialized sets of competencies.
